The Warriors started the season well but folded badly against the Dolphins in their last match. Defending champs the Lions lost their two openers, but both were close calls, so I am backing them to turn it around.

The Dolphins were flying at 65/0 in the 10th over before Aphiwe Mnyanda knocked over both openers and their number three, returning figures of 3/19. It was not enough to prevent a seven-wicket defeat.

Beyers Swanepoel (2/24) and Evan Jones (2/25) were on fire, knocking over KZN-Inland’s top five to get themselves into a winning position, only for a late flurry that saw KZN-Inland slam four sixes in the final over to lift their total to 161/5 off their 20 overs. 

Reeza Hendricks (61 off 44), Rassie van der Dussen (44 off 30) and Mitchell Van Buuren (38 off 25) took the Lions to the brink of victory. KZN delivered two tight overs to end the match and snatch a two-run win.
