Western Province are enjoying a great run of form, winning their last three matches on the bounce to lift themselves up into third spot on the table. The Lions have lost four and won none of their five matches, so they should be easy pickings for the home side.

One of the bright lights for the Lions has been the all-round form of Evan Jones, who hit five sixes in his 18-ball 54* against North West, along with returning figures of 2/25. In the previous two T20s he took 2/16 and 2/25, and in the match before that he hit 76 against Western Province in the 4-Day Series, as well as taking 4/58 and 2/52.
