Race 1 – Rising Eagle (1)

Jockey: Callan Murray

Trainer: M/M de Kock

Rising Eagle has had just one career start which was 13 days ago but the 3-yr-old bay colt placed second in a field of 17 runners after a strong finish.

Elusive Drago is a more experienced runner with three second place finishes in her last five runs, but Rising Eagle looks to have the legs to take her first win in a field with only these two having ever claimed a second spot.

Race 5 – Heal and Soul (1)

Jockey: Callan Murray

Trainer: M/M de Kock

The 5-yr-old bay gelding Heal and Soul is fresh off a third place finish 15 days ago and will be eager to add to his two career wins. He’s hit plenty of third place, with five in total from his 15 runs and comes into this race on the back of runs of 1-3-9-3-3-3 so he is a strong performer.

There are a good few horses in this race with wins in their last six outings, namely Dr Strangelove (3-3-1), Futurewolf (1-1-4) and Thoonsil (1-6-1), but Heal and Soul has the consistency that I think could carry him through to a third victory.

Race 7 – Dante's Bond (9)

Jockey: Mickaelle Michel

Trainer: F. P. Habib

Vibe Sa (6.00) and Antonio Gaudi (4.00) both won their last races, but neither can match the strong recent showing of Dante's Bond.

The 4-yr-old bay gelding has had a 26-day break from the track after a string of strong finishes following a disappointing debut. He finished last in his first race back in July 2025 but a change fo stable and a 223-day break has seen him leap into gear and hit finishes of 1-3-3-2 in his last four runs.

Race 9 – Life In Colour (5)

Jockey: Mickaelle Michel

Trainer: Corne Spies

Life In Colour first ran in March 2026 with a seventh place finish but the 3-yr-old bay gelding found form in his next race, claiming third place before a maiden win in May and another third place in June. Life In Colour

Drivelikeamaster (6.00) is a strong challenger with recent runs of 2-2-2-7 and Winston’s Wonder (5.00) is also enjoying good odds after a good run of 2-3-3, but his last two runs saw him place seventh and sixth, so it looks strong for Life In Colour to take a second win in three runs.
