Going into the 2023/24 Premier Soccer League (PSL) Lamontville Golden Arrows is one of only three clubs from the KwaZulu Natal province. Abafana Bes'thende enjoyed an impressive season last time out, finishing ninth on the PSL table.

While finishing mid-table showed a strong season, Arrows will want further improvement. It has been some time since their last silverware and they'd like to rectify that with a Cup run this year.

Their last trophy came in 2009 when sublime run saw Golden Arrows win the MTN8 Cup, beating Ajax Cape Town in the final.

Since their first promotion to the top division in 2000, Abafana Bes'thende has been a regular in the PSL.

The three-year agreement with 10bet SA will certainly have an impact on not only the club but the region as a whole. The commitment of 10bet goes even further as the agreement includes sponsorship of the Golden Arrows reserve team in the Diski League.
