Manchester City have had little problems in progressing through the group stage. Given the size of their squad, they've not had to stretch their players too far either.

City won their opening game 2-0 against Wydad with Phil Foden and Jeremy Doku on target. In their second fixture, the Citizens eased past Al Ain 6-0.

In their final outing of the group, City were too good for Juventus, winning 5-2. They completely dominated the ball in those 90 minutes.

Al Hilal Form

Al Hilal have produced some good results to date, thus find themselves in the second round. Perhaps none more impressive than their 1-1 draw against Real Madrid in their opener.

Simone Inzaghi's side then drew 0-0 against Salzburg. That fixture was quite open and could have gone either way, but both sides were poor in the final third.

A 2-0 win over Pachuca in their third game was enough for Al Hilal to progress with five points.
