Bulls vs Griquas Preview & Tips
This should be a tight match for the first 60 odd minutes but the Bulls superiority should tell in the final stages. I'm backing the Bulls in the handicap market.

Head to Head
Bulls lead Griquas 5-1 in their last six matches. Their last match saw Griquas win 37-15 against a weakened Bulls outfit.
Bulls Form
The Bulls are second on the Currie Cup table after eight matches, one point behind the Sharks. They remain favourites to retain the Currie Cup title and will look to regain top spot should the Sharks slip up on Wednesday.
This past weekend saw the Bulls lose their first match since the opening weekend of the Currie Cup. They went down 35-28 at the Sharks in what was a very average performance.
Prior to that defeat, Jake White’s men beat Western Province 34-13, the Lions 40-21 and the Pumas 32-27. All those victories saw them score a 4-try bonus point.
Bulls Team News
Jake White is still without his national team players and will be for most of the season. Their squad depth will be tested here after playing on Saturday. We expect to see some rotation from the men in blue.
Griquas Form
Griquas are enjoying a bit of a fairytale Currie Cup campaign. As regular bottom feeders they are not used to the third position they currently hold.
They will be desperate to remain in the playoff spots but with just over half the competition gone, it will be a challenge.
Griquas have won three of their last four matches and have claimed some impressive wins along the way. First they came from behind to beat Western Province 30-28 in Cape Town before downing the Lions 41-31 away from home.
That was followed by perhaps their best performance, beating the Sharks 37-27 at home. At the weekend they unfortunately came up just short, losing 45-42 to the Lions.
Griquas Team News
As the Bulls squad depth will be tested so will Griquas’. They have a far smaller squad from which to pick so will make less changes. How they maintain the intensity remains to be seen with just three days between games.
