Last week Scarlets were beaten 28-17 at Clermont in the Challenge Cup. Prior to that, Scarlets lost at home to the Ospreys and at the Dragons in the URC.

Edinburgh are having a good season in the URC but have only managed one win in three Challenge Cup games.

The Scottish club began their Challenge Cup with a 34-21 win at home to Castres before losing 31-18 in Clermont. Upon their return to the URC over the Christmas period, Edinburgh lost away to Glasgow but beat the same opposition at home a week later.

Last week Edinburgh were unfortunate as they lost 21-20 at home to Gloucester. It was a game Edinburgh would have felt they should have won.
