Australia welcome New Zealand for the 3rd Bledisloe Cup Test at the ANZ Stadium on Saturday. The All Blacks can lift the trophy should they win.

Australia Form & News

Australia came away from their 16-16 draw with New Zealand at Sky Stadium in the 1st Bledisloe Cup Test a few weeks ago with their heads held high. That pride in their performance was erased the following week when they went down 27-7 to the All Blacks.

Head coach Dave Rennie is going through a rebuilding phase, so Australia won't be too disheartened by the defeat - especially seeing as they could have won the 1st Test.

Rennie is likely to fiddle a bit with the starting line-up as he searches for his best combinations. Loose-forward, Isi Naisarani has been called up to the squad as has Brumbies hooker, Connal McInerney but neither is likely to start.

New Zealand Form & News

New Zealand drew 16-16 at Sky Stadium against Australia in the 1st Bledisloe Cup Test. This was their first outing since defeating Wales to third place at the Rugby World Cup last year.

The All Blacks bounced back after the draw, showing their superiority in the 2nd Bledisloe Cup Test at Eden Park, winning 27-7 against Australia.

All 36 players from the All Blacks squad have been confirmed as fit. That means a likely return for veteran lock Sam Whitelock to the second-row. Prop Joe Moody is also fit which will give the New Zealand scrum and forward pack a huge boost.

Australia vs New Zealand Head to Head

New Zealand hold a 48-17 advantage over Australia in their last 68 meetings, along with three draws.

Their last clash finished 27-7 to the All Blacks at Eden Park earlier this month.

Australia vs New Zealand Odds

Australia are priced at 3.50 to win, while New Zealand are available at 1.32. The draw pays 23.00.

The handicap is set at 9 points.

Australia vs New Zealand Match Up

Australia struggled in the last two encounters to finish off promising play, which is something you cannot do against the All Blacks, as they will punish you. While they will have home ground advantage, the All Blacks will want to seal the Bledisloe Cup before contesting the 4th Test.
