Australia’s U20 side were very good during the U20 Rugby Championship a few months ago. They drew against New Zealand, beat Argentina and had a superb comeback to beat South Africa.

That would have given them confidence ahead of this tournament. However, that confidence was crushed on Sunday when they were humiliated 73-17 by South Africa.

It is a long way back from there for the Junior Wallabies and they will require a convincing win here to stand any chance of still taking top spot.

Scotland U20 Form

Scotland U20 had another poor year in the Six Nations, winning just one match and finishing fifth.

That victory came against Wales and while the Scots did run the French close, they lost their other games comfortably.

The World Championship did not start well for the Scots either as they were hammered 56-19 by England this past weekend. At no point did Scotland remotely look up to the challenge and with a tough group, this may be their best chance of a win.
