Ireland vs Scotland U20 Predictions - Ireland backed for thumping home win

Last season Ireland thrashed Scotland 82-7 in away from home.

Ireland U20 are one point off England with one match to play. While the Irish will have to hope England to slip up in their final game, they can go out and win well, with a bonus point, and still have a chance should England not pick up a four-try bonus in their game.

It has been a very good tournament for Ireland thus far. They won their opening game 37-31 in France before just sneaking past Italy 23-22 in round two.

A big 43-8 victory over Wales at home followed before a superb game in England last week saw the Irish come away with a 32-all draw. They had their chances to win it and if they did, the tournament would have been in their hands.

Ireland need to take five points from this game so expect a similar side to last week. A big win to improve their points difference is also likely required.

Scotland have very little left to play for in the tournament. They are rock bottom with one point having lost all four games to date.

In round one, the Scots lost 37-29 in Wales before a 29-14 home defeat to France. Scotland then lost 30-17 at home to France before going down 47-14 in Italy last weekend.

Scotland may try a few options with nothing, but pride left to play for.
