The 2025 CAF Africa Cup of Nations kicks off on 21 December 2025 when Morocco play Comoros. The final will be played on 18 January 2026.
There are a total of 24 teams participating in the tournament and are split up into six Groups (Pools) of four. The top two from each pool will progress to the round of 16 while the four best third-place finishers will also go into the next round.
