Hollywoodbets has once again stepped up in support of South African sport, partnering with the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) to ensure that the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) will be broadcast free across the country.

Thanks to Hollywoodbets’ backing, millions of South Africans will be able to watch every moment of the tournament - including Bafana Bafana’s campaign - on SABC 2, SABC Sport, SABC Plus and the broadcaster’s radio platforms. The competition kicks off in Morocco on 21 December 2025 and runs until 18 January 2026, with all 52 matches available at no cost to the public.

This partnership highlights Hollywoodbets’ growing role in making world-class sport accessible to local communities. Beyond AFCON, the collaboration between the bookmaker and the public broadcaster also covers the FIFA World Cup 2026, live horse racing, and the English Premier League (EPL). Over the next three seasons, South Africans will enjoy 38 live EPL matches per season on SABC channels - a significant boost for free-to-air sports coverage.
