  • Arsenal have lost their last 3 home matches against Man City (Premier League).

Head to Head

These clubs have taken to the field 202 times against each other, with Arsenal holding a 98-59 advantage in the head to head record. There have also been 45 draws between the sides.

Manchester City edged their last encounter in the English Premier League 1-0 in October at the Etihad. Raheem Sterling was the hero for City on the day.

They also clashed in the EFL Cup quarter-finals. City gave Arsenal a 4-1 hiding at the Emirates. Riyad Mahrez, Phil Foden, Aymeric Laporte, and Gabriel Jesus all found the back of the net.

Arsenal Form

Arsenal’s have struggled to find form this campaign, and they have tasted victory in just one of the last five games across all competitions.

Their most consistent spell came over Christmas, where they beat Chelsea, Brighton, and West Brom.

Of late, the Gunners went down in back-to-back games on the road at Aston Villa and Wolves.

They bounced back really well at home against Leeds United last weekend. The Gunners won 4-2 thanks to a superb hat-trick from the returning Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

On Thursday, Arsenal drew 1-1 with Benfica in the first leg of their UEFA Europa League tie. Bakayo Saka equalised for the Gunners.

Arsenal Injuries & Team News

Midfielder Thomas Partey is the only doubt for the Gunners.

Manchester City Form

Manchester City are on a roll. The last time they lost was back in November when Tottenham Hotspur won 2-0 in London.

Since that defeat, City have gone unbeaten in 25, winning 21, scoring 58 goals and conceding just seven goals. That is a seriously good run of form.

It’s now also 17 straight victories, including recent wins over rivals Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Spurs.

The most victory took place on Wednesday at Everton in the Premier League. Phil Foden, Riyad Mahrez, and Bernando Silva scored in a 3-1 win.

They are red hot favourites for the title and the return of Kevin De Bruyne from injury and Sergio Aguero nearing full match fitness makes City look even more formidable.

Manchester City Injuries & Team News

Ilkay Gundogan sat out the trip to Everton after he came off with a groin injury against Tottenham last week, but he is set to return.

Centre-back Nathan Ake is still struggling with a muscle injury and won’t be available.

Sergio Aguero continues to be an option from the bench only, as he is not match fit.
