Southampton’s winless run extended to five following a narrow 1-0 defeat at home to Wolves on Sunday. 

Ralph Hasenhüttl had 18 shots but failed to create any clear-cut chances. They were undone by a quick Wolves counter-attack and still await their first league win. 

The Saints have also failed to score in three of their last four after goalless draws with Man City and West Ham.

Winger Theo Walcott is back in contention. Forward Stuart Armstrong will face a late fitness test.

Defender Jack Stephens and midfielder William Smallbone are ruled out and attacker Armando Borja is unable to face his parent club.
