English Premier League Predictions - 11 February 2026, Matchday 26

Editor
Last updated: 1 hour ago

In the thrilling race to the Premier League finish, Manchester City and Arsenal are vying for the title. Aston Villa, positioned strategically, looks to capitalize on Brighton's struggles, while Crystal Palace and Burnley face a crucial showdown with Burnley fighting relegation. The match between Notts Forest and Wolves could see Forest pulling ahead, given Wolves' poor away form. Meanwhile, Man City, with renewed momentum, is expected to extend their winning streak against Fulham, with expectations of a high-scoring match.

English Premier League Predictions

With 12 matches to go to the end of the season the title race is red hot, with City and Arsenal still to play each other in a match which could either close the race or open it wide.

Villa have plenty of upcoming fixtures against teams in the bottom half off the table, which offers the potential for them to rack up valuable points, but their season ends with clashes against Liverpool and Man City, which would prove to be massive matches.

Arsenal end their season against West Ham, Burnley and Crystal Palace, three teams battling the drop that could all either be fighting for their lives or already be consigned to the Championship.

Aston Villa vs Brighton

Villa are snapping at City’s heels and still have a chance at the title if Arsenal trip up. They’ve only picked up one win in the League in their last five, but Brighton haven’t won in five matches and have drawn two of their last three League games.

Villa have five wins, two draws and two losses in their last nine in all competitions, while Brighton have just one League win in their last nine matches, along with three defeats. On the road Brighton haven’t been strong, picking up just one League win in eight, while Villa have won 12 of their last 14 home games. This is lining up like a Villa win with a clean sheet.

Crystal Palace vs Burnley

Burnley are losing the relegation race unless they start hitting some wins. Palace are nine points above the drop zone but are far from safe, so this could be a feisty match with so much on the line. Palace have won their last three matches against Burnley but have had a poor run of form lately, losing six of their last nine matches before squeezing out a 1-0 win away from home over Brighton.

Burnley’s horror season shows little sign of improvement, despite beating Millwall 5-1 in the FA Cup. The Clarets have lost 11 and drawn five of their last 16 League games, failing to score in seven of those games. Palace should be buoyed by their win over Brighton, and with Burnley’s only away win this season coming against bottom-of-the-table Wolves, I don’t have much confidence in their ability to hit the net.

Notts Forest vs Wolves

Wolves are all but relegated, while Forest are walking the line with just a three-point gap separating them from 18th-placed West Ham, who have won three of their last four League games. Forest are sure to come out flying as they look to rise up to the pack of sides just a handful of points above them on the table.

Wolves bounced back from a 12-match losing streak to go D-W-D-W-D, only to lose their last three matches by a combined 7-1 deficit. They’ve also only scored two goals in five League matches. Forest have been fighting hard in the last month, including holding Arsenal to a 0-0 draw, following that up with a win, draw and a loss, but they haven’t been hitting the net a lot. Wolves haven’t won away this season, while Forest have won four and drawn three of their last 10 home games.

Man City vs Fulham

Man City have regained their footing after hitting a few bumps in the Premier League road and look ready to tear an opposition apart on home turf. Fulham have lost three of their last four League games, while City have won two and drawn one of their last three games, so Fulham could be in for a hammering.

Fulham drew 2-2 with City back in 2011 but have lost their next 19 games against the Citizens in all competitions. They gave City a tough time at Craven Cottage at the start of December in a thrilling 4-5 away win for City. The hosts have won four and drawn one game since their back-to-back losses to Man United and Bodo/Glimt, but their only home loss in the League was in their first home match against Spurs.

Fulham have lost three and drawn one of their last five on the road, so this is stacking up as a big goal day for City. The two teams have shared 19 goals in their last five meetings at the Etihad, so I’m expecting another flurry of goals, with Erling Haaland likely to bag a brace.

Verdict

Villa look strong to beat Brighton to nil, with Palace to also shut out relegation-bound Burnley.

Notts Forest to pick up three vital points in the relegation battle, while Man City to beat Fulham for the 20th match in a row.
