Fulham vs Tottenham Predictions

Fulham have become something of draw specialists and are a tough nut to crack under manager Scott Parker. They are tipped to hold Tottenham Hotspur to a draw, with Spurs' Gareth Bale a value pick to continue his goalscoring exploits.

  • Fulham are undefeated in 12 of their last 15 matches (Premier League).
  • Fulham have drawn 10 of their last 15 matches (Premier League).
  • Fulham held Tottenham to a 1-1 draw this season (Premier League).
  • Tottenham have lost 5 of their last 7 matches (Premier League).
  • Tottenham's Gareth Bale has scored 4 goals in his last 4 matches (all competitions).

Head-to-Head

Tottenham Hotspur hold an historical advantage over Fulham, winning 51 meetings and drawing 30 times in 99 games London derbies. Fulham have won just 18 of those encounters.

Spurs have won 5 of their last 6 clashes with Fulham across all competitions.

The sides last took to the field against each other in January. Ivan Cavaleiro scored a late header to equalise for Fulham after a Sergio Reguilon strike put Spurs ahead.

Fulham Form

Fulham have really turned their season around and now sit just three points adrift of Newcastle and Brighton with strong hopes of climbing out of the relegation zone if they keep up their form.

Their remarkable run has seen them lose just three of the last 15 games. Their issue has been the amount of draws, as they have finishes with a share of the points in 10 of the last 15 matches.

They recorded a crucial win over bottom placed Sheffield United with Ademola Lookman scoring the only goal of the game.

That was was followed by another draw last time out. They took part in a bore draw against Crystal Palace on Sunday, but the Fulham resilience and ability to keep picking up points was on show again.

The draw with Palace means Fulham haven’t beaten any London teams in their last 21 attempts.

Fulham Injuries and Team News

Captain Tom Cairney remains out, but Aleksandar Mitrovic is back in the squad to add some fire power up top.

Josh Maja has failed to score since his brace against Everton three games ago and may be replaced if Mitrovic is deemed fit enough to start.

Tottenham Form

Tottenham had been in poor form in the Premier League, with a 4-0 win against Burnley at the weekend just their second victory in seven games. There has been five losses in that run.

This run of results form has come in between some high-scoring cup performances, but Jose Mourinho’s men have certainly not been firing on all cylinders.

A 4-0 win last Wednesday secured an 8-1 aggregate victory over Austrian side Wolfsberger in the UEFA Europa League.

Tottenham also put four past a solid Burnley side as Gareth Bale continued his recent good form. Bale scored two and was joined on the scoresheet by Heung Min Son and Lucas Moura.

Bale is the one to watch if his form continues as he has been directly involved in seven goals in his past four games, with four goals and three assists.

Tottenham Injuries and Team News

Harry Kane, Heung Min Son and Gareth Bale all seem fit and good to go which has been infrequent of late.

A few players are returning from injury with Serge Aurier in with a chance of a comeback, but Giovanni Lo Celso is still out.
