Liverpool vs Man City Predictions
Liverpool are in superb form in the EPL and currently top the table. City are in form they have not seen before under Pep Guardiola. This is hardly the game they would like to play and I don't see their poor run ending at Anfield.

Liverpool Form
Liverpool have won 14 of their last 15 matches and have legitimate claims to be the best team in football. They sit top of the Premier League, Champions League and are into the League Cup quarter-finals.
Arne Slot’s side won all five games in November with one of those coming on the road. They fell 2-1 behind at Southampton but turned it around in style, Mohamed Salah stepping up with two goals including an 83rd minute penalty.
The Reds beat Real Madrid 2-0 in the Champions League on Wednesday. Alexis Mac Allister opened the scoring before Caoimhin Kelleher saved a penalty, Cody Gakpo coming off the bench to wrap it up.
Liverpool Injuries & Team News
Goalkeeper Alisson is injured with Caoimhin Kelleher to continue in goal.
Defender Kostas Tsimikasis out alongside forwards Federico Chiesa and Diogo Jota.
Defenders Ibrahima Konate and Conor Bradley are doubtful with Joe Gomez to partner Virgil van Dijk in central defence.
Mohamed Salah has registered four goals and three assists in his previous five games.
Man City Form
Manchester City won five straight games in October but have fallen apart in recent weeks. They lost five consecutive matches, the first four of those coming on the road.
Pep Guardiola’s side suffered a 1-0 defeat at Tottenham in the League Cup and lost 2-1 at Bournemouth which saw them give up top spot in the Premier League.
Man City were thrashed 4-1 at Sporting CP in the Champions League and lost 2-1 at Brighton. They then returned home where they were humiliated 4-0 by Tottenham to fall further behind in the EPL.
City’s struggles continued in the Champions League on Tuesday. They took a 3-0 lead against Feyenoord but crumbled in the closing stages, conceding three late goals to slump to a 3-3 draw.
Man City Injuries & Team News
Defender John Stones is injured alongside midfielders Rodri and Mateo Kovacic.
Winger Jeremy Doku is doubtful.
Ruben Dias and Kevin De Bruyne could return to the starting side.
Verdict
Liverpool have won 14 of their last 15 matches and are the best team in the world right now. Manchester City are a shadow of their former selves with the Reds backed to win at Anfield.
