Flamengo flew out of the blocks at the 2025 Club World Cup, winning their opening game 2-0 agaisnt ES Tunis from Tunisia. That was followed by a commanding 3-1 sucess against Chelsea, despite going a goal down early.

With two wins on the cards, Flamengo had already secured a last 16 place, so they opted to rest players for their final group game. In the end, it ended 1-1 against Los Angeles FC with Flamengo leveling the game up late on.

Bayern Munich Form

Bayern Munich have been the most free-scoring side in tournament, thanks in the main to their 10-0 opening round win over Auckland City.

Things got tougher from there onwards, but they still managed to beat Boca Juniors 2-1 with Harry Kane getting off the mark. In their final game, Bayern somehow lost 1-0 to Benfica, despite completely dominating the fixture.
