Botswana vs Mozambique Predictions - All square in World Cup qualifier
In an anticipated face-off, Botswana and Mozambique, two well-matched teams, are predicted to draw in their upcoming encounter. Both teams have been performing impressively lately; Botswana remaining unbeaten in 3 of their last 4 matches, and Mozambique marking two consecutive victories against Botswana in recent encounters.

Head to Head
Over their last six encounters, there have been three Mozambique wins, one for Botswana and two draws. In none of the last six have the home team won.
Botswana Form
Botswana were reasonably competitive in the COSAFA Cup earlier this year although they just managed a single win. That came against Eswatini.
However, Botswana took South Africa close in a 2-1 defeat while they also drew 0-0 against Nigeria. In their final ACCON qualifier, Botswana went down 3-0 in Tunisia.
Botswana have won their last two games though, both of which were friendlies on home soil. They beat Zimbabwe on penalties following a 1-1 draw before seeing off Eswatini 2-1.
Mozambique Form
Mozambique will be relatively confident coming into this match although neither of these sides are expected to make a strong case for World Cup qualification.
Mozambique beat Benin 3-2 at home in their final AFCON qualifier in July this year. It was followed by a 1-1 away draw against Angola and a 3-2 home defeat to Nigeria, both of which were friendlies.
Verdict
I am backing this match to end level. A 1-1 scoreline is predicted.
