Austria vs Serbia Predictins
Austria’s results and performances have been sensational and many view them as a dark horse in EURO 2024. Serbia struggled in the qualifiers and in their friendlies in March, so I am backing home win in Wien.

Austria Form
Austria’s form and team spirits have been on a high level ahead of the EURO 2024 action, winning their last five games across competitions.
After wrapping up 2023 with an impressive 2-0 home victory against Germany in a friendly match, Das Team kicked off this year with another 2-0 win in an international friendly, this time against Slovakia.
Just a couple of days later, they outplayed and humiliated Turkey 6-1 in front of the home crowd, Michael Gregoritsch being the man of the match scoring a hat-trick, Max Entrup, Christoph Baumgartner and Xaver Schlager also on target.
Austria qualified for EURO 2024 directly as 2nd placed team in Group F. They had 19 points from eight matches, ending one point behind Belgium, ahead of Sweden, Azerbaijan and Estonia.

Serbia failed to impress in Group G, but eventually made it to EURO 2024 directly after ending 2nd. They grabbed 14 points (four wins, two draws, two defeats) in eight games, ending four points behind Hungary, but ahead of Montenegro, Lithuania and Bulgaria.
Dragan Stojkovic’s side has played two international friendlies in late March, starting with a horrible performance and a 4-0 loss to Russia where Milan Gajic was sent off after just 20 minutes.
They returned to winning ways three days later against underdog Cyprus, winning the match 1-0, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic finding the net in 7th minute.

Verdict
I respect Serbia’s efficiency, but their recent results have been quite poor, barely making it to EURO 2024. Austria are in red-hot form and I will back them to find their 6th straight win on Tuesday.
