Ten-man Kenya pocketed a crucial point in their CAF African Nations Championship match against Angola mid-week, drawing 1-1.

Kenya were on the back foot soon after kick-off, conceding in the seventh minute of the match. However, Kenya responded swiftly, levelling matters five minutes later via a penalty kick before having a player sent off after 21 minutes of play.

Kenya were under the cosh for the remainder of the contest but held on to secure a draw against Angola. 

The Harambee Stars had 29% possession and six shots during the game, with one attempt on target. 

Before that, Kenya narrowly defeated the DR Congo in their opening Group A game.

The Harambee Stars have won two of their last five fixtures, including one loss and two draws.
They scored five goals and conceded four.

Morocco got their CAF African Nations Championship campaign off to a solid start with a two-nil victory over Angola last weekend. 

Morocco took the lead against Angola after 29 minutes of play to gain the upper hand.

Morocco had chances to score in the second half, but their second goal came via Angola scoring an own goal in the 81st minute of the match. 

The Atlas Lions had 41% possession and seven shots during the match, with five attempts on target. 

Morocco defeated Tunisia 2-0 and Benin 1-0 in two international friendlies in June. 

The Atlas Lions have registered five consecutive victories, scoring nine goals and conceding one. 

Morocco have been in tremendous touch lately, winning 13 successive matches, and they have an excellent record against co-hosts Kenya.
