Morocco are currently ranked the top side in Africa and should be confident of knocking Benin over. They have won their last 11 matches and 13 of their last 14.

The last time Morocco tasted defeat was in the 2024 Africa Cup of Nations last 16 where they went down 2-0 to South Africa. They played much of the game with 10 men.

Three of their last four games have seen wins to nil against Lesotho, Tanzania and most recently against Tunisia a couple of days ago.

Benin Form

Benin have not won a game since October 2024, but they have managed numerous draws. Their last match ended in a 2-0 loss at home to South Africa in a World Cup qualifier.

Prior to that, Benin drew four consecutive games against Zimbabwe, Libya, Nigeria and Togo. In AFCON qualification, they lost to Rwanda and Togo.
