Namibia are on a decent run of four, unbeaten in their last six matches in all competitions. Their last defeat came against Lesotho in October 2024.

Three of Namibia’s last four games have ended in draws against Kenya, Equatorial Guinea and Angola. Their victory in that four-match stretch came in March this year against Malawi during the World Cup qualifiers.

In their COSAFA Cup opener, Namibia could only manage a draw against Angola. Angola took the lead in the 91st minute thanks to a penalty but Ivan Kamberipa equalised in the seventh minute of added time. Angola had a player sent off in the 61st minute.
