Uganda scored two late goals to secure a 3-3 draw against South Africa on Monday, booking their place in the CHAN quarter-finals.
Uganda scored the opening goal in the first half against South Africa after 31 minutes of play to gain the upper hand.
Uganda conceded seven minutes into the second half, and again six minutes later, before South Africa added a third goal in the 93rd minute of the match.
However, Uganda pulled a goal back from a penalty kick at the 88-minute mark and equalised from another penalty kick six minutes into stoppage time.
The Cranes had 44% possession and 12 shots during the match, with four on target.
Earlier in the tournament, Uganda lost 3-0 to Algeria before beating Guinea 3-0 and Niger 2-0 in their CAF African Nations Championship Group C games.
