Zambia Form

Zambia had no answer against the DR Congo in their opening CAF African Nations Championship group game mid-week, losing by two goals to nil.

Zambia could not find an opening in the first half, going into the break on level terms with the DR Congo.

Zambia were left trailing early in the second half after the DR Congo scored in the 51st minute of the match, and were two goals down 20 minutes later.

Zambia had 60% possession and six shots during the game, with two attempts on target.

Chipolopolo have won three of their last five fixtures, including two defeats. They scored four goals and conceded seven.

Zambia did not enjoy the start they wanted in this tournament, but they will fancy their chances against a lacklustre Angolan side.

Before that, Angola lost 2-0 to Morocco in their opening CHAN fixture in Group A.
