Auxerre vs Rennes

Auxerre have scored a paltry 17 goals all season in Ligue 1. They have some breathing space to the relegation zone, but safety is far from certain. Rennes sacked coach Habib Beye and interim boss Sebastien Tambouret oversaw a win over PSG last time out.

Liverpool-bound defender Jeremy Jacquet is set to miss the match with a shoulder problem. Auxerre are unbeaten in four clashes between these sides and I can see them grinding out a point at home in this one. The draw is great value at 3.35 odds and is how I see this match ending.

Nantes vs Le Havre

Nantes are slight favourites with the bookings for this match. That is despite losing five straight matches and Ligue 1 and sitting in the relegation zone. They are a full eight points off safety and desperately need a win here.

Le Havre are nine points clear of the drop zone and have the second-worst away record in the division. Their 10 away fixtures have seen just one win with six losses. Five of their last six matches have seen BTTS No and I'm backing a repeat at 1.91 odds on Sunday.

Nice vs Lorient

Nice are unbeaten in seven matches vs Lorient, but they're struggling to win at home of late. Their last five matches in all competitions have yielded just one win and their overall home record is only the 14th best in Ligue 1.

Lorient have lost six of their 11 away league matches this term. They're on a current three-match winless run in the league, but have a nine-point buffer to the relegation zone. Lorient's last 14 matches have seen just one defeat and they have every chance of avoiding a defeat here. I'm backing a draw at 3.55 in this one.

Strasbourg vs Lyon

Gary O'Neill's Strasbourg side have been playing well. They needed a last-gasp goal to rescue a 2-2 draw against Marseille last time out and suffered successive Ligue 1 losses before that, to PSG and with ten men vs Le Havre. On home soil, it's seven wins in 10 matches in all competitions coming into this match.

Lyon have won five straight away matches and an incredible 13 matches in a row in all competitions have ended in victories. They have won three of their last four meetings between the clubs, so I'm backing a Lyon win in this clash at odds of 2.98.

I'm backing Auxerre and Rennes to draw. I also see a draw between Nice and Lorient.
