Hoffenheim vs Heidenheim

Heidenheim have lost three of their last five games, scoring just five times and letting seven goals through. With just one win in their seven Bundesliga matches they are languishing in second-last place. Hoffenheim are in 8th place with three wins in seven, scoring 12 but also shipping 12. Hoffenheim come into the match on the back of a superb 3-0 win over St. Pauli and I think they will be clinical in turning Heidenheim over.

Eintracht Frankfurt vs St. Pauli

Eintracht Frankfurt have had a good start to their Bundesliga campaign, while St Pauli have struggled a bit, and took a 3-0 pasting from Hoffenheim last week. Neither side have won in their last four matches, although St. Pauli are light on goals. Eintracht were mauled 5-1 at home midweek by a resurgent Liverpool, so they have been wounded, but their record is stronger than their visitors, so I’m seeing a narrow win for the hosts.

B. Monchengladbach vs Bayern Munich

Harry Kane has scored 12 games in seven Bundesliga matches this season, with Bayen winning all seven of their matches. B. Monchengladbach have drawn three and lost four of their matches this season, with a sad scoring split of 6:15 against Bayern’s 27:4. Bayern should roll them by five of more goals, but for me this is hat-trick territory for goal-hungry Harry Kane.

Dortmund vs FC Koln

Dortmund have had two good Champions League wins this month and gave Bayern a tough time in their 2-1 defeat. Their record isn’t much better Dortmund’s after seven matches, but the secret is in their defence: while Koln have scored just one goal less than Dortmund, they have let in 10 compared to their hosts’ six conceded this season. I see both sides scoring, but Dortmund should take it by two goals.

Verdict

German Bundesliga

Hoffenheim to claim back-to-back wins, while Eintracht Frankfurt to bounce back from their Liverpool lashing.

Bayern to maul B. Monchengladbach, while Dortmund should prove too strong for FC Koln.
