Siphosakhe Ntiya-Ntiya is suspended at left back and Chiefs have injury doubts over several other players. Erick Mathoho could be missing at the back and both Kearyn Baccus and Lebogang Manyama are carrying knocks in midfield.

Khama Billiat is ruled out with a long-term injury in attack so Leonardo Castro could partner talisman Samir Nurkovic.

AmaZulu Form

AmaZulu are seven matches unbeaten in all competitions and after 10 points from their last four league matches, they sit 7th in the Premier Soccer League table.

A 1-1 draw on the road at SuperSport United was followed by beating Baroka 2-0 away and Stellenbosch 2-1 at home. A 4-3 home victory against Bloemfontein Celtic came after that before AmaZulu progressed on penalties in the Nedbank Cup after a 1-1 draw at Golden Arrows.

In their last match, AmaZulu played out a dull 0-0 stalemate at Swallows.

AmaZulu Injuries & Team News

AmaZulu handed a debut to new signing Zukile Kewuti in midfield for the last match and he should keep his place against Chiefs. Bongi Ntuli is pushing to start up front after the side’s toothless display against Swallows.

Samkelo Mgwazela made his debut in the second half in the last match and could be handed a start in defence. The only major injury doubt is over midfielder Siyethemba Sithebe.
