Mamelodi Sundowns Sign Three Players - Defence and Attack Boosted
Mamelodi Sundowns have made strategic additions to their squad, signing winger Monnapule Saleng, defender Khulumani Ndamane, and striker Brayan León to strengthen their title challenge. Although Saleng is a surprising signing from Orlando Pirates and currently sidelined until March due to injury, he has previously showcased his scoring ability. León's arrival from Independiente Medellín adds depth to the forward line, while Ndamane brings experience to the defense. These acquisitions reinforce Sundowns' ambitions as they push to close the gap in the PSL title race.

Mamelodi Sundowns have announced the addition of three new players to their squad. They include winger Monnapule Saleng from Orlando Pirates, defender Khulumani Ndamane from TS Galaxy and Colombian striker Brayan León.
They go into the second half of the season sitting two points behind Orlando Pirates in the PSL title race, having played a match more. It's not been the best season so far for Sundowns.
Saleng Signing Shocks PSL
The addition of left-footed winger Monnapule Saleng was a big shock to local football. The wide player was on loan at Orbit College from Orlando Pirates, and no one saw a move to Downs happening.
Unfortunately for Sundowns fans, Saleng is currently out with an injury and won’t be able to play until March. He fell out of favour at Pirates last term, yet still managed to score five goals in the 2024-25 season.
Colombian Forward Boosts Options
A 25-year-old forward from Independiente Medellín in Colombia has joined Sundowns. Brayan León has come through the door for a fee in the region of over R50 Million ($3.2 million).
He has signed a three-year contract and will compete with Iqraam Rayners, Lebo Mothiba and Peter Shalulile for a place up front.
Ndamane Finally Arrives at Chloorkop
The final signing is that of Bafana Bafana international centre back, Khulumani Ndamane. The left-footer arrives from TS Galaxy in a move which was agreed before this season started.
Ndamane was part of South Africa’s squad at the CAF Africa Cup of Nations but played no minutes in the tournament.
He will compete with a stacked pool of defenders which includes Keanu Cupido, Malibongwe Khoza, Kegan Johannes and Grant Kekana, amongst others.
