SuperSport United vs Maritzburg United Predictions & Tips - Maritzburg to take valuable away point

Both sides are struggling to score goals. SuperSport appear to have downed tools with talk of the club being sold. Maritzburg are fighting against relegation and I am tipping them to leave with a point.

SuperSport United hold an 18-3 advantage against Maritzburg United across their previous 31 meetings with 10 draws.

When the sides last met in November, SuperSport won 2-1 at Maritzburg as Bradley Grobler scored a brace.

SuperSport have had an awful season half of the season with one win in their last 12 PSL matches. Their only victory in that team was against an understrength TTM side.

A 3-0 defeat at Cape Town City was followed by losing 1-0 to Golden Arrows and three consecutive 1-1 draws. A ten match winless run was then ended by beating TTM 1-0.

SuperSport United will be without Giuly Manziba due to suspension after his recent red card.

Coach Kaitano Tembo has a clean bill of health otherwise now that striker Thamsanqa Gabuza is back from long-term injury.

In their last match, The Team of Choice drew 0-0 at Cape Town City in a match where they had to park the bus after a red card in the second half.

Maritzburg are hoping to have young striker Bongokuhle Hlongwane available again after injury. Wingers Jose Ali Meza and Sibusiso Hlubi are both out injured.

Coach Ernst Middendorp will be without left back Fares Hachi after his red card in the last game.
