Both sides have struggled in front of goal, but the fixtures have been very cagey throughout the playoffs. Neither has anything to lose anymore with Orbit Stars confirmed to go to the PSL. We may see a more open game; one I am backing to end in a draw.

Cape Town City will be playing in the National First Division (NFD) next season. The playoffs have not gone according to plan.

This is the last game of the playoffs, but neither team participating in it can qualify after Orbit College won their last two matches. City began the qualifying campaign with draws against both Orbit College and Casric Stars.

That was followed by a 1-0 loss to Orbit College last Wednesday. That was a must-win game for the Cape Town outfit, but their poor run of form just continued in that game.

Casric Stars were hoping for their first ever promotion to the PSL, but they will have to wait another season. They had high hopes coming into the playoffs.

Stars opened their campaign with two draws against Cape Town City and Orbit College. Not a bad start, but it did leave them vulnerable if they suffered one loss.

That defeat came in their last outing, going down 1-0 to Orbit College. When Orbit beat City last week, it was confirmed that Casric Stars best hope is to finish second in the playoffs, however, regardless, they will still be in the NFD next season.
