Coach Pepe Bordalas has two injury doubts. Striker Borja Mayoral has missed the last four matches and remains a concern.

Centre back Djene returned from a hamstring problem for Togo during the FIFA break. He should be able to start here.

Having won on the opening day, they went winless in eight league matches (six losses, two draws). A 3-2 win at Alaves provided some much-needed respite.

After losing 2-1 at home to Villarreal, they beat lower-league side Astur 4-1 away in the Copa del Rey. A 1-0 loss at Osasuna and a 1-1 home draw vs Athletic Bilbao followed as they allowed 17 shots and conceded a last-minute equaliser last time out.

Kenedy is the only real injury doubt for coach Paulo Pezzolano.

He is expected to stick with a back five to make things difficult for Getafe.
