Real Sociedad’s fans also can’t be happy with team’s achievements in La Liga this season, entering the final round from 11th place with no chance to play in European competitions.

Imanol Alguacil’s side grabbed just one point from their first three appearances in May, holding Bilbao to a goalless draw, while losing to Atletico Madrid 4-0 and Celta Vigo 1-0.

Their six-game winless run has ended last weekend in San Sebastian, outplaying Girona 3-2 thanks to Arkaitz Mariezkurrena’s stoppage time goal.
