Villarreal are on a great run of form, with three victories from their previous three La Liga fixtures. Since the lockdown break, the Yellow Submarine took down Celta Vigo 1-0 away from home, before beating Mallorca 1-0 at home.

In their last clash, Villarreal beat Granada 1-0 at the Nuevo Estadio de Los Carmenes. It was a very cagey clash, but Gerrard Moreno’s 11th-minute goal was enough.

Centre-back Ramiro Funes Mori remains out injured but at this point he is the only confirmed absentee.
