After thrashing RB Leipzig 6-0 in the Bundesliga opener, they were challenged by Wehen in the German Cup, barely getting away with a 3-2 victory.

Just before the international break, Vincent Kompany's side defeated Augsburg 3-2 on the road, Diaz, Serge Gnabry and Michael Olise appearing on the scoresheet.

Last weekend, they demolished Hamburg 5-0 in front of the home crowd, Kane bagging a brace, Gnabry, Diaz and Aleksandar Pavlovic also appearing on the scoresheet.

Chelsea are unbeaten in four Premier League rounds so far, recording two wins and two draws to sit 5th in the table.

After a goalless opener against Crystal Palace, the Blues bounced back with victories over West Ham 5-1 and Fulham 2-0, with Joao Pedro and Enzo Fernandez scoring twice each across those games.

Enzo Maresca’s men trailed at half-time away to Brentford last weekend, fought back through goals from Cole Palmer and Moises Caicedo, but conceded deep into stoppage time and had to settle for a 2-2 draw.
