Today, 18 March, the Round of 16 of the 2025/26 UEFA Champions League takes place. There’s lots to play for in the 2nd leg as teams vie for a place in the quarterfinals.

The matches taking place on 18 March is as follows:

  • Barcelona vs Newcastle
  • Tottenham vs Atletico Madrid
  • Bayern Munich vs Atalanta
  • Liverpool vs Galatasaray

Barcelona have scored 58 goals in their last 17 matches, winning all of them.

Bayern Munich have an easy night against Atalanta, with the Germans giants enjoying a 5-goal lead. With 33 goals in their last 10 matches, I’m backing them to score a bunch as they cruise into the quarters.

Liverpool have been inconsistent recently, but they have scored 30 goals in their last 12 home matches.

Spurs are scoring under a goal a match in their last 10, so Atletico Madrid’s defence won’t be tested much. Atletico’s strikers have netted 18 times in 7, so they should bag at least a couple against Spurs.
