Copenhagen vs Borussia Dortmund
Copenhagen are winless in the Champions League and will have to battle hard for a point against 7th-placed Dortmund. They are having a mediocre season in the Danish Superliga, while Dortmund are looking strong in the Bundesliga, with a 13:6 goal spread. In their last game they pushed Bundesliga powerhouse Bayern Munich hard, losing 2-1, and in the Champions League they beat Atletico Bilbao 4-1 and drew 4-4 with Juventus. Dortmund should claim a win by three clear goals.
PSV vs Napoli
Both teams have three wins in their last five matches. PSV’s other two games were draws, while Napoli have suffered two losses, including their last match (1-0 to Torino). Neither side is fat with goals, so this should be a tight game, although Napoli have been weaker away from home in recent weeks. Probably a 2-1 home win will be reported in the Wednesday morning papers, but don’t be surprised if it’s a 1-1 draw.
Union Saint-Gilloise vs Inter Milan
Inter are looking strong this season, winning their opening two Champions League matches with a 5-0 combined scoreline. Saint-Gilloise had a good away win over PSV, only to be hammered 4-0 at home by Newcastle, losing two of their last three games. Inter have won six of their last seven games and have been scoring freely this season… so Saint-Gilloise will be challenged at the back.
Villarreal vs Manchester City
City are undefeated in their last eight matches, winning six, drawing two and scoring 18:4. Villareal have won just three of their last nine matches, and their last win was four matches ago. They held Juventus 2-2 at home, so they won’t be pushovers and will likely park the bus and look for breakaway goals against City. The visitors are in such good form I don’t see them failing to beat Villareal, although it’s likely to be a 1-0 or 2-1 win for City.

In-form Dortmund to give Copenhagen headaches at the back, while PSV and Napoli to play out a draw.
Inter to pound Saint-Gilloise, while Man City will have to fight hard for three points against Villareal.
