Bayern Munich vs Club Brugge

Bayern have bagged 18 goals to 3 in their last five games (all won), while Brugge have scored five in their last four matches (WLWW), while conceding three. With home ground advantage and Harry Kane advantage I don’t see Bayern scoring less than three goals, most likely without reply.

Chelsea vs Ajax

Ajax have let in six goals in their two Champions League matches and are yet to score themselves. Chelsea are low on goals but high on defence, so this should be a low-score win for Chelsea, with Ajax failing to find the net or pick up their first point of the campaign.

Eintracht Frankfurt vs Liverpool

Both sides have a win and a loss under their collective belts in the Champions League, with Frankfurt scoring 6:6 while Liverpool’s two matches have yielded a more conservative 3:3 goals. Liverpool have lost their last four matches, failing to win a point in 27 days, although all four defeats were by a single goal. Frankfurt’s form has been patchy (LWLLD), with their only win in five against bottom of the Bundesliga side B. Monchengladbach, and losing big to Bayern Munich (3-0) and Atletico Madrid (5-1). Liverpool are too good to continue losing, and Frankfurt are the perfect struggling ducks for Liverpool to dunk.

Real Madrid vs Juventus

Juventus started their Champions League campaign with two draws, scoring and conceding six, while 15-times winners of the title Real Madrid kicked–off with two wins from two, scoring 7:1. Juve have been unconvincing of late (DDDDL), scoring just four goals in their last five games, while Real Madrid are a team on fire (WLWWW), scoring 15 goals to seven. You’ll get great odds on a Juventus win (6.00), which could happen again (they beat Real 3-1 at the Bernabéu in 2018), although your money might be better wasted on backing Wrexham to win the Premiership in 2027/28.

Verdict

Bayern to see off Club Brugge, and Ajax’s losing run to continue.

Liverpool to pull out their first points in a month, while Real to hand Juve their first defeat of the campaign.
