City have been in unconvincing form recently and followed the Brugge win with a 5-1 loss at Arsenal. A narrow 2-1 FA Cup win at Leyton Orient came before the 3-2 home defeat to Real Madrid.

The Citizens responded with a 4-0 home win against Newcastle in the Premier League. Omar Marmoush scored a first-half hat-trick and James McAtee capped the dominant display with a late fourth.

Man City Injuries

Erling Haaland, Oscar Bobb, Nathan Aké, Jack Grealish and Rúben Dias are injury doubts.

Midfielder Rodri and defender Manuel Akanji are ruled out due to injury.
