Expect a thrilling match with Comilla Victorians to be victorious. Litton Das is tipped to be the top scorer for the Victorians, while Kyle Mayers is expected to lead the score for Fortune Barishal.

Comilla Victorians vs Fortune Barishal Predictions

Both sides have plenty to play for in this match. Victorians have secured second spot in the table, but they have a chance of snatching top spot with a huge win over Barishal in their last group match. Barishal currently sit in the final playoff place… but if they lose big and the Strikers win big in the last group match then they could just be pipped to a playoff place.

  • Comilla Victorians’ Litton Das needs to score 46 to move up into 4th place in the BPL runs list.
  • Comilla Victorians’ Towhid Hridoy has scored 108* & 91*  in his last 5 innings.
  • Fortune Barishal’s Kyle Mayers has scored 48 & 46 in his last 2 innings.
  • Fortune Barishal’s Tamim Iqbal (325 runs) is 4th in the BPL runs list.

Head-to-Head

The Victorians have won three of the last four matches between the two teams, including the last two meetings on the bounce.

Comilla Victorians Form

The Victorians picked up their sixth win in seven matches with their six-wicket win over top-of-the-table Rangpur Riders.

The Riders were bowled out for 150 with one ball to spare, thanks to some superb bowling from Musfik Hasan (3/18) and Andre Russell (3/20).

The Victorians had no trouble hitting their target with six wickets and 14 balls in hand. Litton Das (43) got the innings off to a steady start, leaving Andre Russell to smash 43* off 12 balls to boost their net run rate as they push to oust the Riders from top spot.

Comilla Victorians Team News

Comilla Victorians are in good form and are unlikely to make any changes to their lineup.

Fortune Barishal Form

Barishal ended a three-match winning run by losing to the Riders in a final-over thriller.

Barishal got off to a great start through Tamim Iqbal (33), Tom Banton (26) and Kyle Mayers (46), but they lost seven wickets for 19 runs as they collapsed to 151/9 off their 20 overs.

The Barishal bowlers put in a superb display defending their score, capturing four wickets for 13 runs. Obed McCoy (3/34) and Mehidy Hasan Miraz (3/24) led a superb Barishal bowling display, but the Riders scraped home in the last over with three balls to spare and just one wicket!

Fortune Barishal Team News

There are no injury reports from the Fortune Barishal squad.

Verdict

I am backing Comilla Victorians to win. I am also backing Litton Das to top score for Comilla Victorians.

Kyle Mayers is a good bet to top score for the Fortune Barishal.
