Comilla Victorians vs Fortune Barishal Predictions

Comilla Victorians have won the title two years running and have won four BPL titles in total. Fortune Barishal lost to the Victorians in the 2022 final but have never lifted the trophy. The teams meet in a repeat of the 2022 final which the Victorians won by just one run.

  • Comilla Victorians’ Litton Das has scored 85, 43 & 83 in his last 4 innings.
  • Comilla Victorians’ Towhid Hridoy has scored 91*, 25 & 64 in his last 5 innings.
  • Fortune Barishal’s Tamim Iqbal has scored 33, 66 & 52* in his last 4 innings.
  • Fortune Barishal’s Kyle Mayers has scored 48, 46, 25, 50 & 28 in his last 5 innings.

Head-to-Head

The Victorians have won three of the last five matches between the two teams, but Barishal have won two of those meetings, including victory in the last match between the two sides a week ago.

Comilla Victorians Form

The Victorians secured their place in the final with a six-wicket win over the Riders with nine balls to spare.

The Riders posted what looked like a competitive score of 185/6 off their 20 overs, with Andre Russell (2/37) picking up two valuable wickets.

After losing Sunil Narine off the first ball of the innings, Litton Das (83) and Towhid Hridoy (64) added 143 for the second wicket to set up the win and secure a place in the final.

Comilla Victorians Team News

The Victorians are in good form and are unlikely to make any changes to their team.

Fortune Barishal Form

Barishal won their last three matches, including the Eliminator against the Challengers and Qualifier 2 against top-of-the-table Rangpur Riders.

Barishal restricted the Riders to 149/7 off their 20 overs, James Fuller picking up 3/25.

Mushfiqur Rahim (47*) was the backbone of the chase as Barishal raced to the win with nine balls in hand.

Fortune Barishal Team News

Fortune Barishal are in good form with the bat in particular, but they might look to boost their bowling attack.

Verdict

I am backing Comilla Victorians to win. I am also backing Litton Das to top score for Comilla Victorians.

Tamim Iqbal is a good bet to top score for the Fortune Barishal.
