Kolkata Knight Riders IPL Squad Preview - Knight Riders facing a tough season

The Knight Riders will feel their squad is lacking enough depth because it is, although there is some serious talent in their side, with the coup of the off-season being the recruitment of Aussie star paceman Mitchell Starc. 

Aside from Starc, Sherfane Rutherford and promising young English paceman Gus Atkinson, the Knight Riders have focussed on new additions from the sub-continent: Mujeeb Ur Rahman, Ramandeep Singh, K. S. Bharat Chetan Sakariya, Angkrish Raghuvanshi, Manish Pandey & Sakib Hussain. 

The loss of Jason Roy due to family commitments is a big blow, but his replacement Phil Salt could be one of the stars of the season. They will be looking to skipper Shreyas Iyer, Andre Russell, Sunil Narine, Dushmantha Chameera, Mujeeb Ur Rahman and Mitchell Starc to all stay at the top of their game and to avoid injuries.
