Their previous match saw the Qalandars beat top-of-the-table Islamabad United by 88 runs after posting 209/6 off their 20 overs. Fakhar Zaman top-scored with 44 off 30 balls, but the top-order all contributed valuable runs.

The Kings bounced back from a five-run defeat to the Gladiators to pick up their fourth win in seven matches when they rolled the Sultans by 87 runs.

James Vince top-scored with 65* off 45 balls as the Kings racked up 204/4 off their 20 overs. Irfan Khan (40 off 33) and Khushdil Shah (33* off 13) added valuable support to Vince.

The Sultans were unable to get to grips with the Kings attack and were rolled for 117 off 16.1 overs. Mir Hamza (2/15, econ 6.92), Khushdil Shah (2/26, econ 6.50) and Mohammad Nabi (3/14, econ 3.50) starred with the ball for the Kings.
