The Sunrisers bounced back from defeat to the Capitals in Qualifier 1 to beat the Royals by seven wickets to secure their fourth SA20 final spot.

Anrich Nortje (2/31, econ 7.75) and Senuran Muthusamy (3/15, econ 3.75) knocked over half of the Royals batters as they restricted them to 114/7 off their 20 overs. James Coles was incredibly economical, his four overs going for just 15 runs at a rate of 3.75 runs per over.

The Capitals made it four wins from five matches when they beat the Sunrisers in Qualifier 1 to reach the SA20 final for a second time.

Keshav Maharaj (2/24, econ 6.00) and Bryce Parsons (3/10, econ 3.33) starred with the ball as the Sunrisers posted 170/7 off their 20 overs.

Bryce Parsons (60 off 44 balls) and Dewald Brevis (75* off 38) shared a match-winning stand of 91 for the third wicket to take their side to the brink of victory. Brevis hit seven sixes and four fours in his innings.
