Proteas Women set for first T20I series in Zimbabwe

The Proteas Women will tour Zimbabwe for their first-ever T20I series against them.
The two sides will contest five T20Is in the maiden series.
The series will be held in Bulawayo from 11-19 September 2026.

South Africa and Zimbabwe are set to play one another in a T20I for the first time when the Proteas tour Zimbabwe in September 2026 after the 2026 Women’s T20 World Cup being held in England and Wales from 12 June to 5 July 2026.

The two sides will contest a five-match series at the Queens Sports Club, with the matches being played on 11, 13, 15, 17 and 19 September.

The first match will mark the first-ever T20I clash between the two countries’ senior women’s sides.

"We believe these matches will contribute significantly to the development of our national team while also inspiring the next generation of women to take up the sport."
