South Africa vs Bangladesh Preview
South Africa are favoured to make it a 2-0 series win so the value here is with the run scorers. Dean Elgar is in fine form and is tipped to score 50+ runs as my best bet.

Head to Head
South Africa have won four of their last six Test matches against Bangladesh. The other two ended in draws.
In the 1st Test of this series South Africa won by 220 runs.
South Africa Form
South Africa batted first in the opening test against Bangladesh at Kingsmead. They scored 367 runs thanks in the main to Temba Bavuma’s 93 runs. Dean Elgar contributed 67 runs.
The bowlers responded well initially but The Tigers recovered to scored 298 runs, leaving the hosts with a 69-run lead. Elgar was again among the runs with 64 in the second innings but the hosts were bowled out for 204, leaving the visitors with an outside chance of victory.
That chance however quickly slipped away as Keshav Maharaj took 7-32 and Simon Harmer 3-21 to dismissed Bangladesh for 53. It was a convincing win in the end but up until day five the visitors still had a chance of victory.
South Africa Team News
South Africa have none of their frontline seamers available due to IPL commitments. They are unlikely to change must with their side, and are expected to once again field two spinners.
Bangladesh Form
Bangladesh will be pleased with large parts of their play in the first Test but the dramatic collapse in the fourth innings will be a major concern.
Khaled Ahmed took 4-92 in the first innings as the Proteas could only reach 367. Bangladesh responded with 298 thanks to Mahmudul Hasan Joy’s magnificent 137 runs.
The bowlers were impressive once again as Mehidy Hasan Miraz and Ebadot Hossain took three wickets each, bowling the hosts out for 204 runs.
Unfortunately Bangladesh then fell apart needing 270 for victory. They were bowled out for 53 runs as Najmul Hossain Shanto top scored with 26 runs. Only one other batsmen passed the five run mark.
Bangladesh Team News
Bangladesh were good in the first test when you ignore the collapse late on. They are very likely going to stick with the same side. The one change they may make is playing a second spinner on a track likely to be slow.
