  • Bristol have won 3 of their last 5 away games (PREM).

Head to Head

Sale Sharks Form

Sale Sharks let a healthy half-time lead slip against Newcastle last weekend, losing 45-42 away from home after leading 35-10 at the break.

The Sharks have struggled with consistency at home in the league this season. They defeated Bristol 24-15, Gloucester 27-10, Newcastle Red Bulls 57-5, lost 27-26 to Exeter, and beat Harlequins 43-17 before losing 43-29 to Northampton Saints, 31-26 to Bath, 85-19 to Saracens, and 47-33 to the Leicester Tigers.

Sale are 7th in the Premiership Rugby table with 31 points after 17 rounds.

Sale Sharks dropped vital points in their push to finish their season inside the top eight places, and must beat Bristol to maintain their position in the standings; however, they have lost four consecutive home games.

Bristol Form

Bristol came from behind to beat Bath last weekend, winning 21-19 at home after trailing 19-7 at half-time.

The Bears have had some success away from home in the league this season. They lost 50-17 to Saracens, beat Gloucester 49-34, and lost 40-15 to Bath, defeated Harlequins 40-14 and Exeter 8-3, lost 33-19 to Leicester Tigers, and beat Newcastle 52-19 before losing 94-33 to Northampton Saints.

Bristol are 6th in the Premiership Rugby table with 54 points from 17 matches.

The Bristol Bears did well to pocket all the points on offer in their previous fixture, but they missed out on making the play-offs, as other results did not go their way last weekend. However, they will aim to finish their season with a victory for their fans, as their hosts have been out of sorts lately.
