With 11 wins in their 16 games, Edinburgh will be looking for a positive result at this weekend. Since losing in the Challenge Cup quarter-final to the Sharks in mid-April, Edinburgh have won three successive games in the United Rugby Championship.

At home, Edinburgh made light work of Scarlets, winning 43-18 before traveling to Cardiff to beat the Blues 24-7. Last weekend, Edinburgh comfortably saw off Zebre 40-14 on home soil.

Munster made a very slow start to the season, but their form has picked up drastically over the last few months. Much the same can be said about last season when they came from nowhere to win the competition.

The last seven URC matches have ended in victory for Munster with their last defeat coming away against Connacht on New Years Day. They have lost twice to Northampton in the Champions Cup during that period.

The last four games have seen Munster cause an upset in Pretoria, beating the Bulls 27-22. They followed it up with a convincing 33-13 win over the Lions in Johannesburg.

Last week Munster thrashed Irish rivals, Connacht 47-12 at home.
