France vs Australia U20 Predictions

France have won both their matches at the 2026 World Rugby U20 Championship. Australia have also won their Pool D games while scoring plenty of tries in the tournament.

  • Australia have scored 143 points in their 2 matches.
  • Australia defeated Spain by 68 points at the start of the tournament.
  • France have scored 92 points in their 2 games.
  • France beat Spain by 25 points in their last match.

Head to Head

France have a slight edge over Australia, with three victories to one in four meetings.

France U20 Form

France had to come from behind in their Pool D match against Spain last weekend, winning 57-32 after trailing 20-17 at the break.

Before that result, France kicked off their World Rugby U20 Championship campaign with a 45-15 victory over Fiji.

Les Bleuets occupy second place in Pool D with ten points from two games.

France have won seven consecutive matches in all competitions, but they will have to play well against Australia, as their opponents have scored 143 points in the tournament so far and have won five of their last seven fixtures.

Australia U20 Form

Australia cruised to an easy victory in their second match at the 2026 World Rugby U20 Championship last weekend, winning 53-17 after leading 36-3 at half-time.

Earlier in their campaign, Australia started their tournament with a crushing 90-22 victory over Spain.

The Junior Wallabies are first in Pool D with ten points after two rounds.

Australia have been in fine form during the tournament, scoring many tries, and will have the belief that they can come out on top against France in their final group stage match and progress to the semi-finals of the World Rugby U20 Championship.
