The Western Force have shown some grit and determination upon their return to Super Rugby. A three-year absence from the top table of rugby meant they had to say goodbye to their best players, but they have done well given the circumstances.

In their first match back, the Force were defeated 23-14 by the Waratahs after taking a 14-0 lead. Then they ended up losing 31-24 to the Reds last weekend in Queensland.

Ian Prior and Jono Lance are expected to continue as a half-back pairing after two superb displays. Veteran Greg Holmes is however expected to start at hooker ahead of Feleti Kaitu’u.
